Tim Lyons is a consultant, advisor and confidante. He is empathetic and adept at helping individuals and teams create clarity around their ideals, and grow in trust. He deeply values authenticity, responsiveness and respect.

While working for the Table Group, he trained under Patrick Lencioni and continues to partner with many of his best practitioners in the field. He is convinced that Lencioni's Four Disciplines are the most effective and powerful tool for creating healthy teams, strategic decision-making, and leadership development. He is certified in his latest model - the Six Types of Working Genius, a simple and powerful way to increase productivity and bring joy and meaning to work.


Bio
Before working for the Table Group home office, Tim had nearly twenty-years of experience in teaching, school leadership, and non-profit executive management. He made a life out of helping students, teachers, boards, funders and anyone looking for consultation. He finds inspiration in family and friends, in being outside, travel, reading, books and podcasts, and meeting new people and in coaching. Tim’s passion for creating healthy cultures led him to the Table Group. He is blessed to have a long time friendship with Patrick Lencioni, and to have worked in the home office of the Table Group with Pat and Pat’s team of 10. He trained in their most effective tools for creating healthy organizations and teams.

Table Group Home Office & Consulting Support
As a trusted collaborator of Patrick Lencioni and The Table Group - the world's leading organizational health practice - Tim trained extensively in their most powerful tools for building healthy teams and thriving organizations. During his time at the Table Group home office, he supported the refinement and rollout of the Six Types of Working Genius model and assessment, contributing to a period that saw over 300,000 individual assessments and more than $8 million in company revenue growth. He participated in weekly content development and strategy meetings, appeared as a guest on Patrick Lencioni's podcasts, and worked alongside Pat and his team of ten.
In the field, Tim has personally supported executive leadership teams at global organizations including Southwest Airlines, McKesson, Tyson Foods, Nokia, Chick-fil-A, and Livingston International, as well as small businesses and nonprofits. He has served as an associate facilitator for The Table Group's $45M consulting practice and provided pre- and post-engagement coaching and follow-up.
School Leadership
Prior to organizational health consulting, Tim's background was education. He co-founded, taught, and fundraised, and lead two K-8 schools in San Francisco Bay Area as advancement director, principal, and at the executive board level. Both schools in San Jose and Half Moon Bay, CA are thriving today.
Education
Tim holds a M.A. in Educational Leadership from the University of Notre Dame, a Licentiate in Philosophy from Universita Europea di Roma, and a degree in Theology
